2022 Travels #2

  After Grants, New Mexico we stayed in Las Cruces. The resort was not new to us, we stayed at Hacienda RV Resort last fall on our way home to Arizona. From there we drove to Fort Stockton, Texas and stayed there for four nights. It was good to sit still after traveling five straight days. We got caught up on laundry, got some cleaning done and relaxed.  From Fort Stockton, we stayed 2 nights at 10-83 RV Park in Junction, TX. The park is on the North Llano River. We left Easter morning and drove to Cranes Mill Park (a COE) on Canyon Lake, TX.  Every night and every morning while walking Echo, there are deer. Of course Echo wants to chase them once he knows they are there.  On Monday we checked out the dam. We walked the mile across and mile back. Echo was warm so we let him check out the lake.  Tuesday was an off and on misty/rainy day. We were able to get all the fans and the air conditioners cleaned. I also got the Jeep cleaned out. 2022 Travels #1

  It is time to start documenting our travels for 2022. As most of you know we put our sticks and bricks on the market in early March. We had it on the market one day, 2 showings and 2 offers. We closed on April 8.  We had to move the RV to a different location while the roof on our house was being replaced so we stayed at Leaf Verde RV Park in Buckeye. YES, we were one of those people who complained about the neighbors who came in after hours and while we were gone. For those of you who are RV'ers, wouldn't you?? We left Arizona on March 27 and stayed at Desert Eagle RV park on Nellis AFB, the weather was warm during the day and just a little chilly at night and there was snow on the mountains in Las Vegas. There was this pretty cool cloud formation. Pretty ominous clouds over this mountain in the distance while we were driving and doesn't this look like the head of an alligator on top of the mountain?
