Price Canyon, Utah Mountains, Salt Flats - 4/23/2021

Friday's drive took us through the beautiful Price Canyon.

After the drive through the canyon, we continued to climb where the mountains still awed us. Eventually we drove out of the mountains and into Provo.

We then we headed west to Nevada, our stay for the night was in a casino parking lot in Jackpot. On this leg of the drive we saw a little of the great Salt Lake and salt flats. The salt flats looked like snow and it was pretty cool that there was access to walk out on them at the rest area.

Dierks Lake Hike and Shoshone Falls - 4/24/2021

 Saturday morning we had about an hour drive to Twin Falls, Idaho where we were meeting Gayla, John and boys to check out Dierk's Lake. 

There were some really cool rock (de)formations.

This rock has had a lot of wear but still hanging on the side of the cliff.

I thought this arrow looking rock in the water was pretty cool.

This was the coolest on the entire hike!

After the hike, we drove to Shoshone Falls.

Huntington Utah - 4/22/2021

Our drive Wednesday was to Huntington Utah. The scenery throughout was amazing. We drove through Moab and past Arches National Park but those will have to wait for another time.

Wednesday night we stayed at Huntington State Park in Huntington Utah. It is a very nice park with a lake, we saw a couple of owls, heard loons and enjoyed its peacefulness. We will definitely be back to this area to explore more.
