2022 Travels #2

After Grants, New Mexico we stayed in Las Cruces. The resort was not new to us, we stayed at Hacienda RV Resort last fall on our way home to Arizona. From there we drove to Fort Stockton, Texas and stayed there for four nights. It was good to sit still after traveling five straight days. We got caught up on laundry, got some cleaning done and relaxed.

From Fort Stockton, we stayed 2 nights at 10-83 RV Park in Junction, TX. The park is on the North Llano River.

We left Easter morning and drove to Cranes Mill Park (a COE) on Canyon Lake, TX.

Every night and every morning while walking Echo, there are deer. Of course Echo wants to chase them once he knows they are there.

On Monday we checked out the dam. We walked the mile across and mile back. Echo was warm so we let him check out the lake.

Tuesday was an off and on misty/rainy day. We were able to get all the fans and the air conditioners cleaned. I also got the Jeep cleaned out. Echo's dirty paws from his swim in the lake and his hair was all over so it needed a good cleaning.

On Wednesday, we decided to head into New Bruanfels, TX to do some shopping and go out for dinner. We have an app called Bring Fido and this place, Muck & Fuss Craft Beer and Burger Bar had a fiv,e bone rating. We had a Muck a Rita and Ernie & I decided on different burgers and both were very good. They had some interesting Taco plates that we will need to try at some point.

This is a beautiful park and we will definitely be back.
