Gloucester MA and Boston MA - 2025

We stayed at Normandy Farms in Foxboro, MA. This park is very family friendly, here are some pics of the park, they were getting ready for Halloween.



They have an amazing, huge dog park that Echo loved.

We took a drive to Gloucester, MA and spent the day checking out the area. Gloucester is a coastal city on Cape Ann. Its fishing heritage is reflected in the harbor-side Fisherman’s Memorial, with a statue and names of those lost at sea. If you are familiar with the show "The Wicked Tuna," Gloucester is where they keep their boats.






We took the train from Mansfield Ma to Boston. We walked around Boston and some of the Freedom Trail.

We made it home to AZ. After fueling up, we rolled into our yard and you could see it had been ignored. It will take us a bit to catch up especially in the heat. We purchased our 40' Class A RV in January of this year. I had a work trip in late January and then COVID hit so were not able to take it out and enjoy it. I had another work trip to Wisconsin in June and August so we worked it out that we would live in our RV during those 6 weeks rather than me flying, renting a car and staying in hotels. Additionally, I had vacation and 2 weeks of furlough so in between the June and August times I needed to be in Wisconsin we traveled out to Washington state and back to Wisconsin.  Our first long trip came to an end on August 21. Vermont - 2025

The drive from New York into Vermont was really pretty. It wasn't quite peak colors but f all was definitely settling in due to the lack of rain. We drove to Bennington stopping at Hogback Mountain viewing area and checking out the Hogback Mountain Country Store. We visited Bennington Battle Monument that commemorates the Battle of Bennington during the Revolutionary War. The monument is  306 feet 4 and 1/2 inches tall and features an observation deck with views of three states. The cornerstone was laid in 1887, and the monument completed and dedicated in 1891.       We drove past this beautiful Church, Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales, a Roman Catholic Church. 2023 Year in Review

  2023 was an amazing year of traveling for us. We started in Fredricksburg, TX on New Year's Day and ended up in Fairhope, AL where we purchased a lot that will allow us to spend our winters in a warmer climate.
