Buffalo, WY - 2024

We spent 6 nights in Buffalo, WY where we explored the Bighorn National Recreation Area. We drove into Crazy Woman Canyon which was pretty cool! The roads were narrow and there were a couple of one vehicle bridges.










The drive through Ten Sleep Canyon was also pretty impressive!




We actually thought we were going to walk out to this but it is was just a marker sign.

We made it home to AZ. After fueling up, we rolled into our yard and you could see it had been ignored. It will take us a bit to catch up especially in the heat. We purchased our 40' Class A RV in January of this year. I had a work trip in late January and then COVID hit so were not able to take it out and enjoy it. I had another work trip to Wisconsin in June and August so we worked it out that we would live in our RV during those 6 weeks rather than me flying, renting a car and staying in hotels. Additionally, I had vacation and 2 weeks of furlough so in between the June and August times I needed to be in Wisconsin we traveled out to Washington state and back to Wisconsin.  Our first long trip came to an end on August 21. 2023 Year in Review

  2023 was an amazing year of traveling for us. We started in Fredricksburg, TX on New Year's Day and ended up in Fairhope, AL where we purchased a lot that will allow us to spend our winters in a warmer climate. May, June, July and 2 weeks in August

After we left Corpus Christi, Texas in early May, we drove to Livingston, Texas to pick up our mail at Escapees Mail Service location. We spent the night at an Escapees campground going through 2 months of mail. Our next 2 nights we stayed at a really cool COE (Burns Run) in Cartwright Oklahoma, this site has been added to one of our favorites. We look forward to checking out the water in our kayak. Then it was on to Tulsa. We stayed at a really nice RV resort. The sites were all different due to the terrain. Echo was very intrigued by mouse hole. The last weekend on the road we met up with my very first friend Sharon and her husband Mark at a State Park in Lawrence Kansas Unfortunately, we had a power issue so we were without power all weekend but still had a great time.
