Vancouver WA, Tacoma WA and Olympic National Park - 2024
We spent two weeks with Eric, Jessica and family. We played cards, smoked some ribs on the smoker, played cornhole, went shooting, went to Top Golf, watched Qristopher belt test, played more cards, and went for a walk. We totally enjoyed our time with everyone!

We walked over 2.5 miles to Moulton Falls and back.
Our next stop was a Harvest Host LeMay America's Auto Museum in Tacoma, WA. We have been here before but our grandson Casen, who will be traveling with us for awhile, hasn't and he found his favorite car.
We spent a week in beautiful Olympic National Park. The drive up to Hurricane Ridge was beautiful.
We checked out Ediz Hook. It is a 3 mile long sand spit that extends from the northern shore of the Olympic Peninsula at Port Angeles. At the end of the spit is a US Coast Guard Station.
Echo swimming in the Strait of Juan de Fuca off the western edge of Ediz Hook.
We checked out Madison Falls

Next, we checked out Marymere Falls. This huge tree was at the beginning of the trail.

We decided to walk the Dungeness Spit on Friday. It is 5.5 miles out to the lighthouse and 5.5 miles back. We started out just before low tide, and as we were walking back after touring the lighthouse the tide was coming back in. We read that you didn't want to be walking back with a total high tide or you would have to climb over the driftwood. There were a few groups of people walking ahead of us and we met a few people that had already been out but walking back there were no people at all.
