Arizona and White Sands, New Mexico - 2024

 From the Grand Tetons, we stayed a night at Hill AFB Famcamp, Ogden, UT, a night at a Love's RV Stop in Filmore, UT and a night at Desert Eagle Famcamp, Las Vegas. From there we headed to Arizona and stayed 5 nights at Saguaro Skies, Luke AFB in Glendale. I was really happy to see my best friend and spend time with her. We had lunch at a newer restaurant called Stillery. The food was really good and so was the atmosphere. 

From there we headed south and stayed at Boneyard Vista, Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson for a few nights. We had brunch with our friends Jeff and Louise and spent a few hours catching up with them.

Our next stop was White Sands Missile Range Famcamp in White Sands NM.

We visited the museum which was really deep in history. Outside were old missiles that had been tested there.

We also spent a day at White Sands National Park. Echo loved running in the sand and Casen actually got the sled to go down the dunes.

  2023 was an amazing year of traveling for us. We started in Fredricksburg, TX on New Year's Day and ended up in Fairhope, AL where we purchased a lot that will allow us to spend our winters in a warmer climate. Fairhope, AL - Fall 2023

On our last day of driving, I finally got to drive the RV on the highway, yes going 65 mph, towing the Jeep. I was very comfortable behind the wheel and I think I will be driving again when we are back on the road. We arrived back to our lot in Fairhope, Alabama on Monday, October 23. Echo was glad to see all his girlfriends here in the park. This is Abby and Echo catching up on the months they were apart. We also decided it was time to upgrade our home. We said goodbye to our Winnebago Forza and said welcome to our Tiffin Allegro Red. Our Winnebago was a great coach and we have enjoyed it for 3 years. Some things we love are: The slides are wider so the interior is bigger. The decor, the coloring of the wood, marble flooring. The kitchen window brings in so much light.  It has theater seating and an additional couch so that we can have guests over and have a conversation without having to turn to the side to talk to others sitting on the same side of the coach.  We have hydraulic slid

Vancouver WA, Tacoma WA and Olympic National Park - 2024

We spent two weeks with Eric, Jessica and family. We played cards, smoked some ribs on the smoker, played cornhole, went shooting, went to Top Golf, watched Qristopher belt test, played more cards, and went for a walk. Our next stop was a Harvest Host LeMay America's Auto Museum in Tacoma, WA. We have been here before but our grandson Casen, who will be traveling with us for awhile, hasn't and he found his favorite car. We spent a week in beautiful Olympic National Park. The drive up to Hurricane Ridge was beautiful. We checked out Ediz Hook. It is a 3 mile long sand spit that extends from the northern shore of the Olympic Peninsula at Port Angeles.
