Red Bay, Alabama

We made an appointment to get some warranty work done in Red Bay for the 15th of April. We arrived on Sunday the 14th and were scheduled to be in a service bay at 6:45am on Monday.

We spent 2 days in the regular service bay, got several items checked off our list and then waited 2 more days to get into a mechanics bay. In the mechanics bay we needed to get our ride height adjusted because we could see we weren't level on the passenger front side. Additionally, the step area made an annoying creaking sound. We also asked them to put on our snap pads because after numerous attempts ourselves those darn things wouldn't stay on. I was really impressed with the way they lift up the coach and then work under it 😱.

They thought they had our snap pads on until they backed out our coach from the bay and the back ones fell off. We ended up having to pay for labor and parts for them to bolt the snap pads on. It took 2 of them to get them on.

We waited until the following Monday to get into the carpentry bay. We were able to get our warped bathroom door replaced, some trim work fixed and added for aesthetic look. One item will still need to be looked at because everytime we travel the area is full of drywall and flooring chips.

We also reached out to an employee that paints the US Flag on grilles and grates. We are really happy with the way ours turned out.

All in all we spent a total of 10 nights in Red Bay and were very satisfied with the work that we had done.

One last stop on our way out was 45 min down the road to Tupelo, MS. We had taken our coach in on the Saturday between our service work to get an issue with our cruise control diagnosed. They determined it was determined the camera in the front for the adaptive cruise control needed to be replaced. They ordered a part and we were able to stop in on our way through to get the part installed within 2 hours of getting there we were on the road to our next stop. We are truly impressed with every Freightliner place (Phoenix, AZ, Bowling Green, KY, and Tupelo, MS) we have had interaction with so far.
