Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia - 2023

We are making our way west. Our first stop was at a Harvest Host, Ocean State Harley-Davidson in Exeter, Rhode Island.

On our way to our next stop I took pictures of Gov Mario M Cuomo Bridge and the Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse as we crossed the Hudson River north of New York City.

Our second stop was at a Harvest Host, Readington Brewery & Hop Farm in Readington, New Jersey. There was quite a bit of room behind the brewery and there were four of us that night.

When we arrived at our third stop, a Harvest Host, Midnight Oil Brewing Co. in Newark, Delaware our Garmin took us past the driveway we were supposed to go in so we ended up in the back of the building. This time Ernie went to see where we were supposed to park to make sure we could get all 70' in the area they wanted us or if we needed to disconnect the Jeep. He called me and told me to bring the RV around to the front of the building. At first I thought he was kidding but he said nope, bring it around. I am pretty proud of myself for bringing it around a 90 degree corner and parking it where he told me to. He tried to get a video but he forgot to push the record button, we know who does all the pictures and videos! 😂

A wall of VCR tapes.

Us, Tom & Carol, and behind us in the next parking section was another Class A and a Class B.

Our next stop took us through Baltimore. Besides traffic on a Saturday, it was a rainy drive, we drove through a pretty long tunnel, I saw a lighthouse (I'm not sure what it really is since it wasn't near water), and the leaves are not quite to peak. Also, the drive through Maryland was very hilly but very pretty.

Our campground in eastern West Virginia was kind of interesting. We arrived on Saturday close to 4pm. Our neighbor decided to have a fire with several buddies. They piled the wood on and then I watched them pour oil on it to get it going.

One more night in West Virginia at a Harvest Host. It was a very nice winery, Lamberts Vintage Wines. The only issue we had was the narrow and then single lane road to the winery. I think God made us miss the turn so we would unhook the Jeep on the way up. I drove the Jeep up so I didn't realize how narrow it was until we left the next day.
