Clarkston & Chelan, Washington

We met up with my cousin Kay and her husband John in Clarkston, WA. We stayed at Premier Resorts at Granite Lake in a beautiful site right on the water. This park is on Granite Lake however the Snake River feeds into the lake. Across the river is Lewiston, Idaho.

We all enjoy bike riding so we rode out e-bikes out to Hells Gate State Park which is in Idaho, we put on over 20 miles on the bikes. This ride included a winery stop and a brewery stop both were within 2 blocks from park sites.

Echo also enjoyed the bike/walking path. The squirrels would tease him so he had to check out EVERY tree.

We visited Nez Perce National Historic Park. On the brochure it says that it is a park about a people, for all people. The visitor center had some interesting displays of the Nez Perce tribes and their people.

After 3 wonderful days we traveled to Chelan, Washington. The park is located on Lake Chelan. Kay took some pictures of us driving, something we don't get to see.

We had a great time while we were in Chelan. We ate at Blueberry Hill, picked some blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.

There was a lot of wine tasting where I have discovered my taste in wines has changed.

It was awesome that Kay and John's daughter Jessica and her husband Jason and their 2 boys could join us for a few days, those boys are so adorable!

It was really hard leaving this beautiful place. This is the second time we have visited this area and we will definitely be back. It was also hard leaving Kay and John, we truly enjoy being with each other, our wish is to travel together for an extended period of time in the near future.
