This morning we woke to rain again, but this is Washington so I guess we should expect it. The rain made it chilly in the rig so we had to put the heat on to take the chill out.
Once we were up and moving around we heard a loud boom. We thought it was fireworks until I discovered the washing machine wasn't running. Apparently the park had a blown transformer.
We made a trip to Target to get Casen something for his birthday. I also stopped at the local market to get some things so I could make my favorite Aunt dinner. I also picked up a flat that had 2 pintss of strawberries and 2 pints of raspberries....they tasted so good, we will be stopping to pick up some more before we leave in the morning.
This afternoon was the best afternoon EVER. Ernie took me over to my Aunt's house and he came back to the motor home to wait for the electric to come back on so he could turn the breakers back on. I spent the best afternoon with this very special lady. I know that we are in the middle of a pandemic but we were both okay to be close. We talked all afternoon and then I made my favorite meatloaf for her, Ernie and Casen. We had some yummy chocolate desert and spent most of the evening talking. I love this woman so much it was really hard to say goodbye!! 😢
Tomorrow we have a 5+ hour drive to Vancouver to spend time with Eric and Jessica and family. We are looking forward to spending time with them and the boys.
