Our first full day in Mountain Home didn't work out as well as we wanted. We were going to let the boys go swimming so we drove out to CJ Strike Reservoir but it was really crowded and social distancing wasn't the best.

A picture of the reservoir...
So we went on a mission to find squirt guns, we were disappointed that even at the local Walmart, there were none to be found. They ended up throwing water balloons and unfortunately I didn't get any pictures.
Today the Lathrop's loaded up their bikes plus an extra they had for Casen and we drove to Boise. Ernie and I rented electric bikes and we rode 10 miles on the Greenbelt around Boise. I love the Greenbelt, whether you are walking or running or biking it is amazing. You can get to just about anywhere on these paths.
So, I bet you are wondering about the electric bikes? Part of the reason for renting them is the rental place was close to the Greenbelt because we did not have a way to transport them. Ernie was really excited about the electric bike but I want the work out. I did use it a couple of times and did like the ability to use it. When we returned the bikes, the owner showed us a couple of bikes that have electric assist and let us ride them in a parking garage. It must have been at least 6 levels to the top. The bikes were amazing, I could pedal with a work out and still get the assist going up the levels. Our plan was to buy regular bikes because we have been so many places we could use them and biking is good exercise. Now that we have tried the electric bikes we have already started researching. There's a problem, I fell in love with the one in Boise, it is a beautiful teal color.
Isn't there always one crazy person everywhere you go ?? 😱😱
After riding we were all hungry so we went to PoJo's. It is similar to Dave & Busters and Chuckie Cheese. We ordered pizza and the boys got to play games. The boys also got to ride bumper cars.
All in all it was a good day!!
