Mountain Home, Idaho

After leaving Chelan Washington, we made our way to Coeur 'd Alene, Idaho. We visited my Uncle Phil (my mom's twin brother) and Aunt Sharon and I got to spend a little time visiting with my cousins Andrea and Phillip. We had a really great evening and I am so happy we added that time to our trip. Our drive to Mountain Home was uneventful. We stayed at our favorite Harvest Host Echo Ridge and got some cute pictures of Echo. We arrived in Mountain Home in time to see Casen play the National Anthem and the half time show at the Mountain Home Tigers football game. I made Casen and his fellow trombone player these t-shirts. Clarkston & Chelan, Washington

  We met up with my cousin Kay and her husband John in Clarkston, WA. We stayed at Premier Resorts at Granite Lake in a beautiful site right on the water. This park is on Granite Lake however the Snake River feeds into the lake. Across the river is Lewiston, Idaho. We all enjoy bike riding so we rode out e-bikes out to Hells Gate State Park which is in Idaho, we put on over 20 miles on the bikes. This ride included a winery stop and a brewery stop both were within 2 blocks from park sites. Echo also enjoyed the bike/walking path. The squirrels would tease him so he had to check out EVERY tree.     We visited Nez Perce National Historic Park. On the brochure it says that it is a park about a people, for all people. The visitor center had some interesting displays of the Nez Perce tribes and their people. After 3 wonderful days we traveled to Chelan, Washington. The park is located on Lake Chelan.
