Echo knows that we keep his ball in the bay, one day he decided he didn't want to wait for us to get it for him. Casen enjoying the rain Henry, it's hard to believe he is 6 months old already. He is a real happy baby and smiles all the time. The girls, Ellie 6, Lucy 3-1/2, and Maddie 1 - it was so much fun spending time with them. Unfortunately I missed a few days because I wasn't feeling good and didn't want to spread the germs. Coloring Watching a movie Ellie showing her bunny Bluey for 4H, she got a blue ribbon. Outside fun Ellie and her kitty Peanut Butter I love to see the new babies on their farm, this year it was a new baby alpaca, his name is Sven.

Our next stop was a Harvest Host, Pioneer Museum in Murdo, South Dakota.  We knew Casen would enjoy this museum because of ... CARS. We decided to eat at the diner attached to the museum, at the bottom of the menu reads, "All meals come with 2-4 ounces of love at NO extra charge!!"

Devils Tower - 2024

Image
Although we visited Devil's Tower last year, we thought Casen would like to see what it is all about. We still had the heat but were fortunate to have full hookups to give the generator a break. Devil's Tower outside our kitchen window The hike around the tower We noticed that there was a lot of tree damage that I didn't remember from last year. We inquired about it and were told that a month prior to us visiting they had some wind shears that caused all the damage. Looked like a heart 🩷 to me Casen climbing on the rocks

Spokane, Coeur d'Alene and travel stops in Montana heading east - 2024

Image
We left Bellingham heading east, we spent a few days in Coeur 'd Alene. We had the opportunity to visit my Aunt and Uncle (my mom's twin brother) in Spokane. It was a hot few days so Casen and Echo cooled off in the swimming area in the campground on the Spokane River. Our next couple of stops were Harvest Hosts, the heat was in full force so our generator got a workout. The first Harvest Host was 9 Mile RV Park in Huson, Montana. The second was Bridger Brewing in Three Forks, Montana. Our next stop was 7th Ranch RV Park in Garryowen, Montana. They have a couple short hikes, one up to the American flag and another up to a cross.
