2022 Travels #4 - San Antonio, Texas

Image
The San Antonio/Alamo KOA was our next stop. This is a great park that has access to city hike & bike trails, a bus stop right across the street, a fishing pond, a swimming pool, the Patio Cafe where we enjoyed a great breakfast 2 out of the 3 mornings we were there, and a huge dog park.  We visited San Antonio Missions National Historic Park. Next up was to visit Margaritaville to celebrate 5 years of friendship with great friends. We had a good time taking pictures on the huge chair above the Riverwalk. We ate yummy BBQ at the Smoke Shack. We walked the Riverwalk, enjoyed "Crappy Hour" and had fantastic mexican food. Echo loved the Riverwalk especially chasing the ducks and pigeons.

The other's enjoyed their sandwich as well.  The next day we started out at one of our favorite winery's from last year which was 290 Wine Castle. We enjoyed a couple glasses of wine and fire baked pizzas. We walked around Fredricksburg checking out all the shops and ate dinner at Silver Creek Garden & Grill. They had German fare as well as this delicious dish, Pork Medallions glazed with mesquite and raspberry. The next day we had lunch at Backwoods BBQ and then checked out some more wineries. First,...
